The dark nebula Barnard 161 is located just above the well-known Elephant's Trunk Nebula at vdB 142. The nebula belong to IC 1396 (see here, here and here). An image of Barnard 160, which is located just below vdB 142 can be found here. |

Bemerkungen: |
Der Dunkelnebel Barnard 161 befinden sich knapp oberhalb des bekannten Elefantenrüsselnebels bei vdB 142. Der Nebel gehört zu IC 1396 (siehe hier, hier und hier). Ein Bild von Barnard 160, der sich knapp unterhalb von vdB 142 befindet, ist hier zu finden. |
