The image was shot on May 13th, 2004 at Capella Observatory. It was exposed 35 minutes on Fuji Provia 400F. Lens: 4/300mm (medium format). North is up. Photographed by  S. Binnewies, R. Sparenberg and V.Robering.

A detailed view of NGC 4755 (the Jewel Box) can be found here. On the image above NGC 4755 can be found directly between the darkest part of the Colesack Nebula and the left star (= Mimosa = Becrux = β-Crucis) of the cross.

Die Aufnahme entstand  am 13. Mai 2004 beim Capella Observatory. Sie wurde 35 Min. auf Fuji Provia 400F belichtet. Objektiv: 4/300 mm (Mittelformat). Norden ist oben. Fotografiert von S. Binnewies, R. Sparenberg und V.Robering.

Eine Detailansicht von NGC 4755 (des Schmuckkästchens) befindet sich hier. Auf dem Bild oben befindet sich NGC 4755 direkt zwischen dem dunkelsten Teil des Kolensack-Nebels und dem linken Stern ( = Mimosa = Becrux = β-Crucis) des Kreuzes.
