Remarks:

Right next to the 8.6-magnitude star HD 217602 in Pegasus lies a trio of galaxies that clearly interact with one another, even though the distance measurements for the three do not quite match. In any case, from right to left, they are NGC 7463, Hubble type SBb; the small NGC 7464, type E1; and the face-on galaxy NGC 7465, Hubble type SB0, an active Seyfert 2-type galaxy. The scene is rounded out by PGC 70285 at the top edge of the image.

Bemerkungen:

Direkt bei dem 8,6 mag hellen Stern HD 217602 im Pegasus steht ein Galaxientriplett, dem die Wechselwirkung anzusehen ist, obwohl die Entfernungsangaben der drei dazu nicht ganz passen. Wie auch immer, es handelt sich von rechts nach links um NGC 7463, Hubble-Typ SBb, die kleine NGC 7464, Typ E1 und die Face-on-Galaxie NGC 7465, Hubble Typ SB0, eine aktive Galaxie vom Seyfert-2-Typ. Abgerundet wird das Motiv noch von PGC 70285 am oberen Bildrand.
