Image shot in Namibia. Astro-Physics 105mm-Refractor Traveler f=600mm. Exposure time 90 min. on Kodak Ektacolor Pro Gold 400 (medium format). North is up.

In addition to the reflection nebulae NGC 6726/27/29 most eye catching are the dark nebulae Bernes 157 (center) and Sandqvist/Lindroos 42 at the left edge. Also visible: the globular cluster NGC 6723. A detailed view of the center of this image (taken with Ganymed at f=1800mm) can be found here, an even more detailed view (at f=4800mm) here.

Zusätzlich zu den Reflexionsnebeln NGC 6726/27/29 sind die Dunkelwolken auffälligste Objekte des Bildes , zentral Bernes 157 und am linken Bildrand Sandqvist/Lindroos 42.
