| Remarks: | Every 10 minutes a video of 120 sec. was
recorded. The frames of the videos were added with
Registax
and sharpened slightly. What you can see: At the beginning both moons are "right" of Jupiter. The outer one is Io, the inner one Europa. Europa gets in front of Jupiter first. Nearly at the same time when Io gets in front of Jupiter, Europas shadow can be seen on Jupiter. So the shadow below Io is from Europa! During the sequence you can see both shadows travelling across Jupiter and Io nearly gets ahead of Europa. Unfortunately the seeing, which was very good at the beginning, got worth at the last third of the recording and finally some clouds appeared. As a result we were not able to record the end of the shadow casting. |
| Bemerkungen: | Im Abstand von 10 Minuten wurden jeweils Aufnahmen von 120
Sekunden gemacht. Diese wurden dann mit
Registax
addiert und leicht nachgeschärft. Was zu sehen ist: Zunächst stehen beide Monde "rechts" von Jupiter. Der äußere ist Io, der innere Europa, der folglich als erster vor Jupiter tritt. Fast zeitgleich mit dem Beginn des Durchgangs von Io fällt der Schatten von Europa auf den Planeten. Der Schatten unterhalb von Io stammt also von Europa! In der Folge sieht man, wie beide Schatten über Jupiter ziehen, wobei Io Europa fast einholt. Leider verschlechterten sich die anfangs sehr guten Sichtbedingungen gegen Ende der Aufnahmen aufgrund durchziehender Bewölkung. Das Ende des Schattenwurfs konnte deswegen nicht mehr gefilmt werden. |
