The upper image shows the crater Ritter (31 km diameter) and Sabine (30 km diameter). The Rimae visible are the Rimae Hypatia. The lower part of Mare Tranquillitatis is on the right side of the image. The right image shows an enlarged view. The two craters marked are named after two of the three astronauts of Apollo 11. Aldrin has a diameter of 3.4 km, Collins of 2.4 km. Crater Armstrong is outside the image (beyond the right edge). The landing site of Apollo 11 is just above the "T" of the word Tranquillitatis in the right image. At the end of this page a photo made from the Lunar module Eagle, yust after it was undocked from the lunar orbiter, is shown (image AS11-37-5447, see here). Compare this to the right image.

Das Mare Tranquillitatis befindet sich auf der rechten Seite des Bildes. Das rechte Bild zeigt eine Ausschnittvergrößerung. Die beiden markierten Krater sind nach zwei der drei Astronauten von Apollo 11 benannt. Aldrin hat einen Durchmesser von 3,4 km, Collins einen von 2,4 km. Krater Armstrong ist außerhalb des Bildes (jenseits der rechten Kante). Die Landestelle von Apollo 11 befindet sich etwas über dem "T" des Wortes Tranquillitatis . Am Ende dieser Seite befindet sich ein Bild, das vom Landemodul Eagle gemacht wurde, nachdem es sich vom Lunar Orbiter gelöst hatte (Bild AS11-37-5447, siehe hier).
