| Remarks: | You may notice, that the brightest star in the PN is not round on this image. This is not an artifact! In reality this is a double star with a distance of 1.7". The two stars are not completly seperated in the image but result in an elonguated "dot". (BTW: A person in San Francisco, viewed from Salt Lake City is about 1.7" tall!) |
| Bemerkungen: | Wenn man den hellsten Stern innerhalb des PN genauer anschaut, stellt man fest, dass dieser nicht ganz rund ist. Der Grund hierfür ist kein Artefakt, sondern die Tatsache, dass es sich um einen Doppelstern handelt, dessen Komponenten ca. 1,7" getrennt sind. (1,7" entsprechen übrigens etwa der Größe eines Menschen, der in München steht und den man von Hamburg aus beobachtet!) |
