The peculiar shape of this tiny PN is the result of projecting the 3D shape, a donut, onto the image. The donut is seen from the side. The smaller axis of this PN has about the same visible diameter as Jupiter, its central star has a magB of 17.44. Image processed with CCDSharp and DDP. |

Die eigenartige Form dieses kleinen PN ist das Ergebnis der Projektion seiner 3D-Form (ein Torus -"Autoreifen") auf das Bild. Der Torus ist von der Seite sichtbar. Die kleinere Achse dieses PN hat etwa den selben scheinbaren Durchmesser wie Jupiter, sein Zentralstern hat eine Helligkeit von 17,44 magB. Das Bild wurde mit Hilfe von CCDSharp und DDP bearbeitet. |
