The image shows a section of the most dense part of the milky way. The open cluster NGC 6520 (upper left), combined with the dark nebula of Barnad 86 (middle right) and the 6.7 mag bright K0 star SAO 186161 (at the right edge above the center) form a nice contrast. Image processed with CCD-Sharp. |

| Bemerkungen: |
In der sternreichsten Milchstraßenwolke überhaupt ergibt sich ein schöner Kontrast zwischen dem Sternhaufen NGC 6520 (links oben), der Dunkelwolke Barnard 86 (in der rechten Bildhälfte) und dem 6,7 mag hellen K0-Stern SAO 186161 (ganz rechts, oberhalb der Mitte). Das Bild wurde mit Hilfe von CCD-Sharp bearbeitet. |
