| Remarks: | Four lonely stars, standing closely together just by accident, are catalogued as one object by Charles Messier. This was, beside M40, consisting of only two stars, the only "error" of Mr. Messier. |
| Bemerkungen: | Vier zufällig beieinander stehende Sterne sind hier von Messier als eigenständiges Objekt aufgenommen worden. Etwas änliches ist ihm nur noch bei M40, einem Doppelstern passiert. |
