Remarks: On the way to us, the light from the cluster stars of this globular cluster, which is in the direction of the center of the Milky Way, is deprived of the blue light component by scattering processes in the gas and dust clouds that have passed through. Hence the straw yellow coloring of IC 1276 / Palomar 7.
 

 

Bemerkungen:

Dem Licht der Haufensterne dieses in Richtung des Milchstraßen-Zentrums stehenden Kugelhaufens wird auf dem Weg zu uns durch Streuprozesse in den durchlaufenen Gas- und Staubwolken der blaue Lichtanteil entzogen. Daher rührt die strohgelbe Färbung von IC 1276 bzw.  Palomar 7.
