| Remarks: | The slightly cropped image above shows the galaxy NGC 7497 and the molecular cloud MBM 54 in constellation Pegasus (for an uncropped hires version see here). The exposure time of nearly 9 hours not only made it possible to show the faintest details the surrounding galactic cirrus, but also countless background galaxies and clearly red-shifted galaxy clusters were immortalized in the image. |

Die leicht beschnittene Aufnahme oben zeigt die Galaxie NGC 7497 und die Molekülwolke MBM 54 im Sternbild Pegasus (eine unbeschnittene hochauflösende Version findet sich hier). Die Belichtungszeit von knapp 9 Stunden ermöglichte es, nicht nur schwächste Details im umgebenden galaktischen Zirrus zu zeigen, auch haben sich unzählige Hintergrundgalaxien sowie deutlich rotverschobene Galaxienhaufen in der Aufnahme verewigt. |
