Remarks:

This low-surface-brightness dwarf galaxy belongs to our local group. Its large HII regions reach angular diameters of about 50“ (PGC 63600 at the right site).
This image was made together with a higher resolved version of NGC 6822 by "piggybacking" the traveler refractor onto Ganymed. An image of NGC 6822 in primary focus can be found here.

Bemerkungen:

Diese sehr lichtschwache Zwerggalaxie gehört zu unserer lokalen Gruppe. Ihre großen HII-Regionen erreichen einen Durchmesser von ca. 50" (PGC 63600 auf der rechten Seite).

Dieses Bild wurde gleichzeitig mit einer  höher aufgelösten Version von NGC 6822 erstellt, indem der Traveler Refraktor "huckepack" auf Ganymed montiert wurde. Ein Bild von NGC 6822 im Primärfokus photografiert befindet sich hier.
