NGC 5850 shows a central, nearly closed ring around the luminous bar. In the outer area some dim spiral arms can be seen. 120 minutes of exposure for L is a little short for almost 5m focal length and Ganymed's 60cm mirror. We should do a longer exposure or increase the mirror size ;-) Image processed with DDP and CCDSharp. |

NGC 5850 zeigt zentral einen fast geschlossenen Ring um den leuchtkräftigen Balken, in den Außenbereichen allerdings wenig helle, schmale Spiralarme. Die 120 Minuten L-Belichtung dieses Objekts bei fast 5m-Brennweite sind für Ganymeds 60cm-Spiegel schon ein wenig knapp gewesen, entweder sollten wir noch länger belichten oder den Spiegel vergrößern ;-) Das Bild wurde mit Hilfe von DDP und CCDSharp bearbeitet. |
