The rays coming from the upper left part of the image are artifacts caused by a 3.7 mag bright star located only about 15' from the image corner, combined with dust (not extragalactic but simply Namibian desert dust ;-) ) which fell down on the corrector lenses and was hidden by the light baffel. Image processed with CCDSharp and digital development (DDP). |

| Bemerkungen: |
Die Strahlen, die von der linken oberen Ecke des Bildes ausgehen, sind Artefakte, die einerseits durch einen 3,7 mag hellen Stern, der nur 15' von der Bildecke entfernt ist, und andererseits Staub (kein extragalaktischer Staub sondern einfach Staub der Namibianischen Wüste ;-) ), der sich auf den Korrekturlinsen abgelegt hatte und vom Baffel "versteckt" wurde, hervorgerufen wurden. Das Bild wurde mit Hilfe von CCDSharp und "digital development" (DDP) bearbeitet. |
