Although NGC 2841 is large and bright, it was not discovered by Charles Messier. As a result the galaxy is somewhat less well known than comparable M-numbered galaxies. This image is the latest exposed at Eifel/Germany before Ganymed will move to Skinakas observatory/Crete again. |

Bemerkungen: |
Obwohl NGC 2841 groß und hell ist, wurde sie von Charles Messier nicht entdeck und so ist sie etwas unbekannter als vergleichbare Galaxien mit einer M-Nummer. Das Bild ist das letzte, das in der Eifel belichtet wurde, bevor Ganymed wieder zum Skinakas-Observatorium/Kreta ziehen wird. |
