| Remarks: | June seems to be a good month for discovering super novae in M51. In June 2005 Wolfgang Kloehr discovered SN 2005cs and 6 years later, at June 2nd 2011 Stephan Lamotte (until now, June 5th 2011 unofficially) detected SN 2011dh. We noticed about this new SN a day later by the German Astrophotography Group of the VdS and exposed it with Ganymed in the next and next but one night. The above image shows an animated version with the M51 we did in 2008. |

Der Juni scheint gut für Supernovae-Entdeckungen in M51. So entdeckte Wolfgang Kloehr im Juni 2005 mit der SN 2005cs eine solche in dieser Galaxie und am 2.Juni 2011 war Stephane Lamotte (aktuell noch inoffizieller Entdeckerstatus) mit der SN 2011dh dran. Wir hörten davon zuerst im Forum der Fachgruppe Astrofotografie der VdS und in der folgenden Nacht blickte “Ganymed“ via Fernsteuerung auf M51 und legte den Grundstein für das oben stehende Bild, das hier animiert mit dem Bild von M51, das im Jahre 2008 entstand, gezeigt wird. |
