Image shot on the Island Reunion, Indian Ocean. Astro-Physics 105mm-Refractor Traveler f=600mm. Exposure time 90 min. on Kodak Panther 400 slide film  (medium format). North is up. Author: Stefan Binnewies.

The colorfull nebula in the center of the image is a huge diffuse nebula within in the LMC: The Tarantula Nebula = NGC 2070. A detailed view of this nebula can be found here.
