This was the first completely robotic exposure done with Ganymed incl. flat
frames and auto focus. Only minor pars of the observatory have to be added
to let the telescope do its work even without baby sitting... Below an annotated view of the image above is shown (only NGC and IC). Especially NGC 4921 and NGC 4911 are beauties of its own. High resolved images of them done by the HST can be found on Wikipedia. |

Die Aufnahme war die erste voll
robotische, die mit Ganymed gemacht wurde (einschließlich Flat Frames und
Autofocus). Nur noch wenige Details fehlen, bevor das Teleskop seine Arbeit
auch ohne Babysitter erledigen kann... |
