Close to the Bubble Nebula is the Lobster Claw Nebula, commonly referred to as Sh2-157. Strictly speaking, however, this catalog designation refers to the small, cave-shaped nebula in the lower part of the image. The entire nebula complex is cataloged as LBN540. On the left of the image there is a nebula cataloged as LBN544. Other parts of the entire nebula complex are LBN 533, 536 and LBN 537. On the right of the image is the beautiful open star cluster NGC7510. Also worth noting is the yellow reflection nebula in the upper left area of ​​the nebula cataloged as GN 23.15.3.
Thew claws of the Lobster Claw Nebula are basically a Wolf Rayet Nebula caused by the star WR 157 (one of the stars of the small open cluster Basel 3 directly right to the bluish part of the left claw).

In direkter Nähe zum Bubble Nebel befindet sich der Hummerscherennebel, allgemein als Sh2-157 bezeichnet. Diese Katalogbezeichnung bezieht sich aber genaugenommen auf den kleinen, höhlenförmigen Nebel im unteren Bildteil. Der gesamte Nebelkomplex ist als LBN540 katalogisiert. Links im Bild ein Nebel mit der Katalognummer LBN544 und weitere Teile des gesamten Nebelkomplexes sind LBN 533, 536 und LBN 537. Rechts im Bild befindet sich ein schöner offener Sternhaufen NGC7510. Bemerkenswert ist aber auch noch ein recht auffälliger Reflexionsnebel im linken oberen Bereich des Nebels mit der Bezeichnung GN 23.15.3.

Bei den Scheren des Hummerscherennebels handelt es sich im Grunde um einen Wolf-Rayet-Nebel, der seinen Ursprung im Stern WR 157 (einem Stern des kleinen Sternhaufens Basel 3 direkt rechts vom bläulichen Gebiet des linken Scherenblatts) hat.
