Remarks:

Sh2-155 or LBN 529 is a star-forming region in the constellation Cepheus. The large anvil-shaped dark cloud is Dobashi 3420. At the top of this dark cloud you can see yellow and bluish glowing reflection nebulae. The hydrogen gas is probably stimulated to glow by the star HD217086. An O-type star visible directly above the dark cloud. The whole region shows signs of triggered star formation.

Sh2-155 oder LBN 529 ist eine Sternentstehungsregion im Sternbild Cepheus. Die große Ambossförmige Dunkelwolke ist Dobashi 3420. An der Spitze dieser Dunkelwolke sieht man gelbe und bläulich leuchtende Reflexionsnebel. Das Wasserstoffgas wird vermutlich vom Stern HD217086 zum leuchten angeregt. Ein O-Typ Stern der direkt über der Dunkelwolke sichtbar ist. Die ganze Region zeigt Anzeichen von getriggerter Sternentstehung.
