Remarks: |
In addition to NGC 2170 (= vdB 67 = LBN 994 = Ced 63),
various other cataloged objects can be seen in the image, such as NGC 2182,
the reflection nebula on the left edge of the image. Overall, this region is one of the most colorful in the entire firmament. However, it is quite a bit darker (and smaller) compared to the similarly colored Antares region. |
