Remarks: |
The ρ Ophiuchi Cloud is usually known as a larger region.
Additionally, ρ Oph is not even in the frame here, only the part in the
constellation of Scorpius with Antares, τ and 22 Scorpii, as well as the
globular clusters Messier 4 and NGC 6144. Even in this smaller field,
already a visually appealing combination of reflection nebulae colored
according to the illuminating stars, dark clouds, as well as Hα emission
around τ Sco can be found. Due to its relative proximity, M4, despite its small size, covers an angular extent of over 30 arcminutes. Moreover, for a globular cluster, it is weakly concentrated and shows a unique central bar structure consisting of a series of stars with approximately 11th magnitude. Die ρ Ophiuchi-Wolke kennt man
üblicherweise als größeren Ausschnitt, und ρ Oph ist hier auch gar nicht im
Feld, sondern nur der Teil im Skorpion mit Antares, τ und 22 Scorpii, sowie
die Kugelsternhaufen Messier 4 und NGC 6144. Auch auf diesem kleineren
Ausschnitt bietet sich schon eine farblich sehr ansprechende Kombination mit
den entsprechend der beleuchtenden Sterne gefärbten Reflexionsnebeln,
Dunkelwolken und Hα-Emission um τ Sco. |
