Remarks:

This colorfull region in Cygnus consist of some remarkable areas, mainly the two blue reflection nebulae LBN 408/409, LBN 412 (the white/blue reflection nebula with some HH objects included), the Ha region at the lower edge left to the middle (Sh2-120) and the well known V1331 Cyg, which  is a young, variable star, most noted for having an arc-like reflection nebula surrounding it. V1331 Cyg is located in the dark nebula LDN 981.

Embedded in LDN 988 is GN 21.00.7, also known as HH 1051. More information of the Herbig-Haro-objects located in LDN 988 et al. can be found e.g.  here.

Bemerkungen:

Haro-Objekten finden Sie z.B. hier.
